2. Purpose

We process personal data to provide SolutionBoard, manage accounts, ensure security, provide support, and meet legal obligations.

3. Categories of data

  • Account data (email, name, authentication metadata)
  • Company and project data you enter in the service
  • Usage and log data (e.g. IP address, timestamps, device info)
  • Support communication
  • Billing data for paid plans (via payment provider)

4. Legal bases

Processing is based on contract performance, legitimate interests (operations, security, product improvement), or legal obligations. Where consent is required, we obtain it.

5. Processors and international transfers

We use in particular:

  • Supabase — database, auth, file storage (EU hosting where configured)
  • Resend — transactional email
  • Paddle (if enabled) — payments
  • Vercel (if enabled) — web hosting
  • Sentry (if enabled) — error monitoring

Data processing agreements are concluded with processors as required. Transfers abroad occur only with appropriate safeguards under applicable law. A draft Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available for paid customers.

6. Retention

We retain data while the account exists and thereafter only as required by law or to establish legal claims. Deleted content may remain in backups for a limited time before permanent removal.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access processed data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erasure where no retention duty applies
  • Restriction of processing
  • Data portability in a common format
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures. Absolute security on the internet cannot be guaranteed.
